The Skill Development Center in Helping Hand – Jordan started a new training course for teaching producing some detergents at home like dish and hand washing liquid. The number of participants in this training course is 15 Syrian refugee women.
HHRD Jordan Skills Development Center (SDC) held an graduation ceremony and certificates distribution for the sisters who completed successfully training courses in sewing, embroidery and handicrafts. Most of sisters are Syrian refugees and some are Palestinian and local Jordanian.
Sister a “Turfa” is one of 1.4 million Syrian refugee in Jordan. She suffered so much with her family. She’s also one of 400 sisters who get training in Helping Hand SDC in Jordan. She joined two sewing training course in Helping Hand SDC and was among the 57 sisters who benefited from sister Suzane
The Skills Development Program in Helping Hand continues the training courses as per plan for 2018. The number of trainees/sisters who finished the training until end June is 193 (Syrian refugees, Palestinian Refugees, Yemeni Refugees and local Jordanian sisters.
