The Orphans Support Program team of “Helping Hand” made home visits to our sponsored orphans to check on their living and behavior conditions to increase the bond between them and their supervisors. During the visit, the supervisors met the orphans’ mothers and fill the questionnaire form about the ethical and behavior of student at home.
In continuation of the weekly lessons of the orphans in all governorates, a cultural program was organized which includes several segments aiming to raise the moral and ethical side of the orphan and recognize positive thinking to build balanced character.
OSP team distributed cash money allowance on the Syrian and Palestinian refugee orphans as well as Jordanian orphans in Amman. Distribution made in a joyful environment. Beneficiaries were happy and express their thanks and appreciation for HHRD generous donors.
As part of the cultural follow-up of the orphans’ mothers, the weekly meeting was held with a lecture entitled “Hijraa”. The meeting included many moral lessons inspired from this great event. The mothers interacted greatly with the memory of “Hijraa”.
Within the overall support provided to our sponsored orphans, the Orphans Support Program team made home visits to check on the educational status and health of our sponsored orphans. During the visits, our social workers met with mothers and discuss positive aspects and problems faced by students and methods of finding solutions to them.
The Orphans Support Program, and within the continuous care provided, continued the permanent students’ club after concluding the summer camp & school summer holiday. The permanent club includes weekly lessons with special attention on morals, Quran Memorization & Hadeeth. Lessons cover all clusters (Amman, Jerash, Irbid and Almafraq).
