The Orphans Support Program of HHRD held (for the third year row) the winter club activities for 2018 to our sponsored orphans in (Amman, Irbid, Jerash and ALMafraq). The winter club will last for one month.
During the trip of Dr. Farrukh Raza (HHRD CEO) to Jordan, he met with the OSP team in Jerash, Irbid and Almafraq. He also met with all the staff in Jordan and participated with several orphans activities like “Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi ).
“Helping Hand” distributed the winter provision coupons on Syrian refugee orphan families within the winter provision project. Also, transportation was made available to the families so they can go to market (our vendor) and pick the suitable clothes. Beneficiaries thanked the generous donors of Helping Hand.
The Orphans Support Program of Helping Hand distributed the financial “subsistence” amount to our sponsored orphans in Al-Mafraq and Irbid. This will ease the suffering of those families especially at present difficult times.
Among the regular OSP activities, tuition support lessons have been organized for the students in “Mathematics – English Language – Arabic Language”. These lessons were held in Amman, Al-Mafraq, Irbid and Jerash by specialists in each subject. These lessons also covered males and females sponsored in the OSP program. The Orphans Support Program team in AlMafraq made a medical check for 300 orphans. The health status of each orphan was monitored, a report was written, the necessary medicines were distributed and a list of orphans who needed health care follow up was prepared.
