The Skills Development Program in Helping Hand continues the training courses as per the plan for 2019. The Education Support Program team made a follow up visit to the private school in Al-Mafraq where HHRD sponsors 300 Syrian children. Also, the team visited the three learning centers in several areas in Al-Mafraq where Syrian children in random camps are provided with literacy education.
HHRD continues for the second month in row providing Syrian refugee families with potable water. The project is implemented by transporting water into the areas where they live in order to meet their requirements as they suffer from reaching healthy water sources because they live in remote areas by the Jordanian Syrian Boarders. The Orphans Support Program team followed up the orphanage building sponsored by Helping Hand during which the monthly building rental was paid and financial support was distributed among the families. Also medicine and maintenance services were provided. Our team met with the orphans and their mothers who are pursued on daily basis by specialized teachers
Within the healthcare support provided to our sponsored orphans, a medical check us was made to them in Irbid and Jerash which aim to pursue their health condition and chronic diseases and provide assistance whenever needed.
Helping Hand Orphans Support Program team made home visits to the orphans as per the annual plan for these visits. The visits objective is to strengthen the bond with the orphans, identify their requirements and their desired ambition.
In continuation of Permanent club in all governorates, a cultural program was organized which includes several segments aiming to raise the moral and ethical side of the orphan and recognize positive thinking to build balanced character.
As per 2019 plan, the Orphans Support Program implemented Winter Club for all HHRD sponsored orphans.The winter club included several activities like Quraan Memorization, Tafseer, Hadeeth lessons, Moral Awareness, Honoring the mother as well as other entertainment segments and trips. Most of the students participated and enjoyed these activities and benefited well.
