Within “WASH Program”, Helping Hand implemented a project of providing restroom for the Syrian Refugee families who live in tents in Lebanon. Each family got a healthy toilette which includes a sink, a shower, an electrical installation and water tank.
Today Monday 30/07/2018 the participants of Youth for Jordan 2018 project (24 youth) arrived Amman headed by youth manager Br. Mazhar Qasem. The trip will last for 7 days and they will participate in several relief and developmental programs and projects and they will also visit historical places and work with the orphans summer club.
Sister a “Turfa” is one of 1.4 million Syrian refugee in Jordan. She suffered so much with her family. She’s also one of 400 sisters who get training in Helping Hand SDC in Jordan. She joined two sewing training course in Helping Hand SDC and was among the 57 sisters who benefited from sister Suzane
With the help of “Allah” SWT, preparations for the Sixth Qurbani project of HHRD MENA started in Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia. The project is expected to provide more than 2300 Udhiyah/Qurbani which will be distributed to the refugee and needy families. We ask Allah SWT to help us in this project.
The Orphans Support Program team followed up the orphanage building sponsored by Helping Hand during which monthly building rental was paid and financial monthly support were distributed to the families. Also medicine and maintenance services were provided. Our team met with the orphans and their mothers who are pursued regularly by specialized teachers for study
The Orphans Support Program of Helping Hand has opened the fourth summer club (2018) of the sponsored orphans and their mothers in Jordan who are distributed in in the governorates of (Amman, Almafraq, Jerash and Irbid). In-Kind Gifts Program distributed bedding and clothes which were sent from “California & Maryland“ to Syrian refugees and needy Lebanese in Beirut and Central Beqaa’ Camps, Lebanon 7,576 people benefited from these aids.
