The HHRD MENA Skills Development Program (SDP) continues the training courses in November as per plan. The sewing training course for beginners, hand embroidery and soft skills trainings were completed. The number of sisters who competed these trainings are 64 trainees.
The representative of Higher Education Support Program made a follow up visit to Al Zarqa University in order to meet the students who benefited from the four year scholarship presented from “Helping Hand”. The beneficiary students express their thanks and appreciation to HHRD and the generous donors for this grant which help build their future.
The Education Support Program started tuitions lessons in math and English language for a number of students in Amman and Jerash. These lessons aim to help the students prepare for the first semester exam which will start in December 2017.
The Food Support Program of “Helping Hand” continues distributed the 4th part of program consisting 115 food parcels among Syrian refugee’ families in Irbid. Beneficiaries were happy and appreciate this distribution which assists to ease their sufferings.
HHRD – Shelter Relief Program team delivered one Micro Home to the Syrian refugee family, who was living in tents in Al Mafraq, and marked the beginning of a healthy and safe life for them in the cold weather.
