HHRD Shelter Relief Program team delivered Micro Homes to the Syrian refugee families, who live in tents in Al Mafraq, near the Syrian border, which contributed to increasing their suffering and marked the beginning of a healthy and safe life for them in the cold weather. 40 houses was delivered in January 2017.
Orphans Support Program in Helping Hand organized an entertainment trip to the sponsored orphans (from 1st grade to 3th grade). The activity includes several fun, educational activities, competitions and distributed awards.

HHRD MENA Skills Development Program (SDP) have started new training courses for the year 2017 according to the plan prepared before. Three training courses have been started, sewing for beginners, embroidery and handicrafts. The number of trainees is 55, most of them are Syrian refugees with some sisters’ Palestinian refugees and local Jordanian.
HHRD Jordan Skills Development Center (SDC) held an Graduation ceremony for the 339 sisters who completed successfully training courses in sewing, embroidery and handicrafts. Most of sisters are Syrian refugees in Jordan.
Under the slogan ” today’s child is the commander of Tomorrow”, The Orphans Support Program of HHRD held (for the second consequent year 2017) the winter club activities for all the sponsored orphans in (Amman, Irbid, Jerash and ALMafraq). The winter club included several useful activities like (Quran recitation contests, Quran Tafseer, quizzes and entertainment
The Orphans Support Program of HHRD made home visits to the sponsored orphans. The purpose of visit is to check on their living status and make acquaintance between them and the supervisors and if any special assistance is needed.
In-Kind Gifts Program distributed Clothes container which was sent from “Texas“ to Syrian & Palestinian refugee families and Lebanese needy families in Lebanon. 2,700 Individual beneficiaries benefited from this distribution.
